Experience
I have been a classroom science teacher for 10 years, and have been privately tutoring for the past 7 years. I have tutored in all subject areas - English, Math, Social Studies, SAT prep, and ACT prep - though my area of expertise is in science. Within the sciences, I have tutored Biology, Chemistry, and Physical Science. I have also worked with students on preparing for the Biology SAT II. I was a Biology major in college, and also have been teaching various levels of Biology since 2006. I would like to expand my tutoring to include the online help for students who need it. I enjoy the specialization of working with students independently and designing a program that works with that particular student.

Hobbies
Outside of the classroom I enjoy reading books and watching movies. I am the coach of the bowling team at my school, and am also a bowler in my personal time. In addition I enjoy playing pool and am on a kickball team with my friends.
